As we step into November and the season of thankfulness, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey of Camp Rippling Brook and the people who have made it all possible. This time of year always reminds me of how much we have to be grateful for, and at the top of that list are the families, campers, and staff who are part of the Camp Rippling Brook community.
Starting this camp was a dream born from my own childhood experiences. As a 10-year-old camper, I discovered the magic of camp—a place where I felt accepted, challenged, and inspired. That feeling stayed with me into adulthood and eventually sparked the idea to create a camp where kids could grow, explore, and feel that same sense of belonging. It’s been a journey of hard work, learning, and growth, but it’s one I wouldn’t trade for anything.
None of this would have been possible without the support of my own family and friends.
They’ve been there every step of the way, cheering me on, offering advice, and jumping in to help when I needed it most. From encouraging words to hands-on help during setup, their belief in this dream has been unwavering. For that, I am profoundly grateful.
To our campers and their families: thank you for trusting us with your children. Every time a parent chooses Camp Rippling Brook, they entrust us with something incredibly precious—their child’s time, joy, and growth. Watching our campers try new activities, make lifelong friends, and develop confidence is the greatest reward. You are the heart of our camp, and your trust and partnership mean everything.
To our staff: thank you for your dedication, energy, and love for what you do. You bring the magic of camp to life with your creativity, compassion, and commitment to making every camper feel valued. Whether it’s leading a craft, organizing a game, or simply being there with a listening ear, you make a difference every day. Camp Rippling Brook wouldn’t be the same without each and every one of you.
And to the broader camp community: thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or are new to the camp family, your support helps Camp Rippling Brook grow and thrive. Together, we’re building a community where children can learn, laugh, and create memories that last a lifetime.
As we prepare for the upcoming season, I’m filled with gratitude for the opportunity to do what I love. Camp isn’t just a job—it’s a calling, a joy, and a reminder of how powerful it is when people come together to create something special.
From my family to yours, thank you for being part of Camp Rippling Brook. I’m looking forward to another amazing summer filled with laughter, adventure, and growth. Happy November, and here’s to all that we have to be thankful for!
