Memorial Day has come and gone which means we are officially in the summer season, well the pools are open even if it isn’t technically summer yet. We’re only 26 days away from our first day of camp!

Today, I’d like to share a bit about how our week will look this summer.

Upon arrival on Monday, our campers will be divided up into groups, these groups will be our Camp Cup teams for the week. Please send any groupmate requests to us ASAP if they were not included on the camper application as groups will be preassigned before Monday morning.

Our schedule is divided into Central Activities and Core Activities.

Central Activities: These are activities that all campers will participate in throughout the week. Some occur daily, while others happen once a week, depending on the activity.

  • Morning Show: Every day kicks off with an energizing welcome, including songs, camp challenges and announcements.

  • Lunch: Please pack lunch for your camper every day. We have refrigeration available before lunch but cannot heat food. Include a morning and afternoon snack separate from the lunchbox. Please note, we are an allergy-aware camp but not nut-free.

  • Team Time: During Team Time, we focus on teamwork and cooperative activities that earn points towards the Camp Cup.

  • Recharge*: Our Little Campers (ages 4-5) will have time to rest and recharge during our quiet time. Please note, our Little Campers will have recharge during Team Time.

  • R&R: This is our camp version of recess that includes activities like our slip n slide, gaga, hammocks, target sports like archery and axe throwing, sports, friendship bracelets, games, playground time and more.

  • All Group Activity: Our themed weeks and spirit days come to life during this time with activities like Duck-lympics, a color run on Crayola Day, or Gold Rush during Fun-tier Week.

  • Special Events: Each Friday, we have a special event to close out the week. Check our calendar for details.

  • Closing Show: Families are invited to our weekly Closing Show at 4:00 pm on Fridays. We’ll share camp highlights with a camp song, Camp Cup team chants and poster presentation, camper awards, and the highly anticipated awarding of the Camp Cup.

Core Activities: These are camper choice activities that take place during our morning Activity Periods. Campers will choose between two activities for each period. Please note, to remain age appropriate, activities may be divided by age group.

We have three Core Activity areas – Locomotion (LM), Outdoor Adventure (OA), and Creative Arts (CA). Here’s a sample of choices for each activity period. For example, on Monday during Activity Period 1, campers can choose between LM 1 and OA 1 (e.g., gaga or archery). During Activity Period 2, choices might be shelter building in the woods (OA 2) or making dream catchers (CA 1). Activity Period 3 options could be a fun camp game (LM 2) or skit writing and performing (CA 2).

  1. Locomotion: Sports, Cooperative Games, Dance/Zumba

  2. Outdoor Adventure: Archery, STEM, Teambuilding, Survival Skills, Nature

  3. Creative Arts: Arts & Crafts, Creative Writing, Music, Drama, Upcycling
