Procedures & Daily Schedule

With school done for the year, summer is officially here, and camp starts in less than 2 weeks! Mark your calendars for our Camp Day on Saturday, June 29th, from 1-3 pm. Join us for family fun with activities like our inflatable slip 'n slide, archery, carnival games, and more! You’ll also get to meet our fantastic team. Don’t forget to bring bathing suits and towels if you want to enjoy the slip 'n slide (you really do, it’s awesome!).

Today, I’m providing an overview of our drop-off and pick-up procedures. Please review the map for details.

  • Camper Drop Off: 8:30 am – 9:00 am

    • If registered for Morning Camp (extended hours) drop off as early as 7:30 am.

  • Directions: Enter using the south entrance on New Hampshire Avenue, take an immediate right, and follow the road to the back of the church. You have two options:

    • Curbside: Drop off without parking, just pull up to our greeting area, check in, and drop off.

    • Park & Walk: Park in the designated area and walk to the greeting area to check in.

  • Check In: Upon arrival, we will confirm registration and ensure we have all necessary documentation. If we need additional items, we may ask you to park or pull over.

  • Exit: Use the north entrance to either turn left or right onto New Hampshire Avenue.

  • Late Drop Off: No problem, just send us a quick text at 301-852-0909 or email at so we know to expect you later.

  • Camper Pick Up: 4:00 pm – 4:30 pm

    • If registered for Afternoon Camp (extended hours) pick up as late as 6:00 pm.

  • Directions: Use the same south entrance as drop off.:

    • Curbside: Pull up to the greeting area, let us know who you are picking up, and be prepared to show ID for authorization. Your camper will then get in the car.

    • Park & Walk: Park in the designated area and walk to the greeting area. Let us know who you are picking up and be prepared to show ID. Your camper will walk to the car with you.

  • IMPORTANT - ID Check: We will confirm you are authorized to pick up by checking ID with our camper information. If someone else is picking up your camper, please let us know in advance. You can update your “authorized to pick up” list on the Household Form in your camper portal. We print these forms by Sunday evening, so inform us if you make changes after the first day of camp.

  • CAMPER PICK UP HOTLINE – In a rush? Text us at 301-852-0909 at least 10 minutes before arrival, and we will have your child ready.

  • EARLY PICK UP – Notify us the day before or morning of the early pick up with the expected time. You can also text or email us.

  • CLOSING SHOW: Join us for our weekly Closing Show at 4:00 pm on Fridays. We’ll share camp highlights with a camp song, camper awards, the Camp Cup presentation, and our new Beads of Recognition. If you join us, please ensure you properly check out your camper before leaving.

  • LATE PICK UP POLICY: Please pick up on time each day. A late fee of $1 per minute will be charged for late pickups. If you are running late, please notify the office.

  • HOW TO ASK ABOUT YOUR CAMPER’S DAY: Tired of getting “fine” or “nothing” as answers? We will send out a schedule of activities and highlights each day to help you ask specific questions. Here are some open-ended questions to try:

    • Tell me about your friends, counselors, and activities today.

    • What was your favorite thing you did today?

    • I saw a photo of you doing ______. Tell me about it.

    • What is something you’re proud of accomplishing today?

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Here’s what we’ve covered so far and what’s coming up:
